About Your Photo Session
At Sandra Coan Photography, sessions are designed with your real life in mind. Fun, relaxed, and straightforward, so you can focus on what matters most: your family.
Where do photo sessions take place?
The majority of photo sessions take place at our Greenwood studio, located at 310 NW 85th St in Seattle, WA.
The studio is a beautiful, light-filled space with a comfortable lobby for family members to relax, a toddler play area to keep older siblings entertained, and a restroom fully stocked with extra diapers and wipes.
Most importantly, the studio is a comfortable space where families can relax, have fun and just be themselves.
What if my baby/toddler/child is uncooperative?
This is one of the most common concerns we hear, and we want to put your mind at ease.
Sandra was a kindergarten teacher before becoming a photographer, and every member of our team is both a parent and an experienced photographer. There is truly no situation we have not seen before.
Our experience with newborns, toddlers, and kids means we can work quickly and efficiently while keeping the session fun and low-pressure.
We believe your photo session should be a joyful experience for the whole family, not a stressful one.

What is your pricing? Do you offer digital files?
My session fee is $325 for a weekday or $525 for a weekend. Your session fee includes the photographer’s time and talent, as well as approximately 50 edited images presented in an online gallery for viewing and ordering.
Session fees do not include digital files or physical product. Digital files and albums can be added to your session for an additional fee.

Will I be required to come back in for a sales session?
No! We know you are busy, and we know Seattle traffic is no joke. We will never ask you to pack up your baby and drive back to the studio for a separate sales meeting.
At the end of your session, while you are still at the studio, we will walk you through the products we offer so you can add anything you love right then. If you prefer to wait and see your photos first, no problem. You will receive a private online gallery approximately two weeks after your session and can place your order from home. Everything is shipped directly to your door.
If there is no sales session, how do I order product?
Our photo sessions are designed to be easy. Our entire workflow, from the shoot to the product in your hand, has been designed with you and your busy life in mind.
After your shoot, while you are still at the studio, we will show you the product we offer. Most clients add something to their sitting at that time. If you want to see your photos before committing to a product, that is fine too. You will receive an online gallery about three weeks after your session and can easily choose your product after viewing your images. Everything you order will be shipped to your front door.
What is your turnaround time?
You can expect to receive your online gallery within two weeks of your photo session.
Albums and prints take an additional two weeks from the time your order is placed. If you purchased a product with digital files, you will receive a link to a gallery and will be able to download your files directly from there.
